September 25: Last night a tragic incident almost took place in block- E 3rd quadrant, a fuse connection board went up in flame and when the students saw the burning flame and lots of smoke around they rushed there and successfully extinguished it by throwing sand. The incident happened due to lack of maintenance and servicing of the electrical connection system. Luckily no one got hurt.We request HMC to provide fire extinguisher to every hostel block.
